Let’s talk paint colors! What’s trending? A lot of black, brown, warm greys and whites. Think outdoorsy colors (and dusty greens) like these: SW Urban Bronze, Messenger Bag, Pure White, Canyon Clay & Morris Room Gray. Want to go more bold on an accent wall?? Try Nard Green or Navy Blue. Only use these dark colors as an accent, using in entire room can leave a room feeling dark and small.
Warm Earth tones & High Contrast If you went to Home-A-Rama this year you know what we mean! So many beautifully designed homes in black, white, and brown! This is a beautiful and welcoming trend- just be sure to add textures! We love this trend and hope we see much more in years to come.
Mixed metals: This has been on trend and is increasingly popular! Avoid mixing too many in one room to avoid busyness Neutral metals are the safest as they mix well with warm and cool metals. Focus on matching textures and finishings to stay consistent if you decide to mix it up!
Light woods- making a comeback from the 90s! What’s great about this trend is that it pairs well with most color palettes and brightens spaces- especially in addition to a lot of natural light! This on the floors alone can transform a home entirely. We are seeing this more in kitchen cabinet design instead of solid whites and greys as it introduces more warmth and depth. Looks beautiful next to exposed brick and contrasts well with darker colors
Integrating nature-Using greenery as pops of color and texture whether it be moss on a table or a fig tree for height, texture and color make the room feel more alive
Modern rustic/Industrial. Natural, aged and casual meets sophisticated, comfortable elegance. Preserve character and original architecture details then layer in modern furniture. To add an industrial flair- add iron and natural wood in your tables + maybe even some Edison lighting
”Grandmillinial” Layering patterned traditional furnishings, moodier color pallets, “granny chic”. If you remember the early 90s you might feel this trend looks familiar! It’s a fresh take on traditional meets shabby chic with its bold mix of colors and patterns If you love to be more adventurous in your home style, this may be for you!
